Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34 mm, 25.38 g, 6 h), Rome, 128-circa 129. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. HILARITAS•P•R / COS III Hilaritas standing front, head to left, between small boy and small girl, holding long palm frond in her right and cornucopiae in her left; small boy laying hands on palm frond. BMC 1370. Cohen 819. RIC II, Part 3, 988. Boldly struck on a full flan and with a lovely brown patina. Good very fine.
